CB Boss Installation Guide
This install guide covers versions up to 1.0L.Now that you have downloaded the CB Boss package it will need to be installed on your host. The installation is very simple and I’ll walk you through it, step-by-step. CB Boss Preparation and Installation Extract the CB Boss files from the zip to a location on your machine. Open and change the variables below in cb_boss_config.php. Note: not all variables need to be changed, but you will need to modify at least three and they are listed below. Upload the entire package to a directory on your server. The server defaults should be fine to run CB Boss, and no addition settings or file permissions should be needed. Now, point your browser to the location of your CB Boss install. You should now have a running CB Boss script. NOTES: Make sure you upload image files in binary and text files in (TEXT) ASCII mode or you may encounter problems. Files with a PHP, THML, TXT or CSS extensions are considered text (ASCII). There are other variables you may wish to change before going live with your CB Boss install. Those variables are listed below: $cb_boss_config['title'] – the title of your CB Boss copy $cb_boss_config['slogan'] – the slogan of your CB Boss copy $cb_boss_config['description'] – the description of your CB Boss copy $cb_boss_config['keywords'] – the keywords for your CB Boss copy $cb_boss_config['default_vendor'] – this is the vendor that the script will use when it can’t find the vendor that was clicked on or when there’s a problem.
There are more variables that you can use in the config file and a more detailed description will be provided as time allows. CB Boss is a free [not GPL], custom ClickBank ( Mall ) Marketplace style script that you may use for your personal ClickBank affiliate needs. |
