CB Boss was released back in June 2007 with a RC ( Release Candidate ) 0.8L version. As this script matures and changes take place, I thought it would be a good idea to log the version updates; Specifically, changes between versions. 

• 0.8L (June 2007) - The first public release of CB Boss. This was released as a RC version and was undergoing testing when released.If you're still using this version, then please update.
  
  Note: The L part of the version ( 0.8L ) stands for Lite and represents a File driven system. 
  
   
• 0.9L (July 2007) -  If you're still using this version, then please update.
   
  • New feature - Added CB sales tracking. You can now define a sales tracking id to your copy of CB Boss. An example of use might be to track the sales from different CB Boss installs, across many domains.
  • New feature - Added a random vendor module. Display a randomly retrieved vendor on every page of your CB Boss copy. There's an option in the config file to turn this feature off or on.
    
     
• 1.0L - Fixed a couple bugs and added configuration options to control module display. This version is also in a RC state. If you're still using this version, then please update.
   
  • Fixed - a variety of minor bugs.
  • New feature - Added module control configuration variable for the featured module. The featured module will come in a future version, when I add new fields to handle gravity and other stats in the file DB.
  • New template - added Extraterrestrial template to this version.
     
• 1.1L  (November 2007) - Created a language file and configuration variable. Created a new language file for text storage and configuration variable to signify the current language file being used. This version went through many optimizations with code output and became the first version to be HTML Standards compliant. I also started an administration area that's still under development.
   
  • New feature - Added language file and variable for this new feature.
  • Optimization - HTML Standards compliance.
  • Future feature - Started an administration area. This administration area will be coming in a future version.
    
     
• 1.2LR (January 2008) - This version introduces Mod Rewrite capabilities, Two new templates, the removal of previous templates and completing HTML Standards compliance.

  Note: The R part of the version ( 1.2LR ) stands for Rewritable URLs and represents  Mod Rewrite capabilities.
  
   

  • New feature - Added rewritable URL capability. This new feature requires Apache's Mod Rewrite module be installed and the $cb_boss_config['use_rewrite'] variable set to 1 in the cb_boss_config.php file.
  • New template - Added Darkened View template.
  • New template - Added Golden View template.
  • Removed template -  Extraterrestrial was removed until redesigned.
  • Removed template -  Custom01,  Custom02 and Standard templates were removed.
  • Optimization - Finished HTML Standards compliance.

• 1.3LR (April 2008) - This version has been released. NOTE: The new templates require the latest browser versions to render properly (IE/FF).
